Textile felting initiation kit (wool felt)
Realization of a wool felt glasses case, needle felted with autumnal patterns of oak leaves and acorns

Techniques used: Hand sewing, felting on textiles, volume needle felting.

This complete kit allows you to make a felt glasses case from wool and carded wool.

It contains :

• 1piece of wool felt camel 30 x 30 cm
• 1 block of felting foam
• 3 fine (38), extra-fine (40) and ultra-fine (42) felting needles
• 1 sachet of 6 colors of carded wool (moss green, leaf, fir, khaki, hazelnut and curry)
• The sewing pattern (case, hand sewing)
• Patterns to cut out
• A step by step in photos and full explanations: Placement of decorative patterns, felting, mounting of the case and sewing.

To make this beautiful glasses case you will need:

• 1 pair of scissors
• 1 meter tape or a ruler
• 1 felt-tip pen, tailor's chalk, pen or pencil (for the drawing on the wool felt)
• 1 sewing needle
• 1 spool of light brown or contrasting sewing thread of your choice.

I recommend the use of wooden handles for a better grip of your felting needles.

Once you have made your case, you will have enough to make a small card holder, key ring or other creations with the unused felt and carded carded.

With the help of the very complete explanations, you can then redo another case or other creations in textile felting, by diversifying the colorsof the felt coupons (25 colors available) and imagine other patterns to felt in carded wool (45 colors available on the store)
